We are seeking an experienced embedded engineering cybersecurity specialist to join our team and contribute to the security of our runtime codebase.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our cybersecurity advisor to develop secure software development processes that meet internal and external standards, regulatory compliance, and customer needs.
  • Provide guidance in architecting, designing, and threat modeling to members during the development cycle. Perform code reviews for pull requests as part of our SDL process.
  • Evaluate, track, and resolve product and runtime cybersecurity issues and related technical debt in 3rd party packages, reported internally and externally.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
  • 8-12 years' experience in code development for multitask embedded systems running in Linux, VxWorks/RTOS, and Windows
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and scripting languages like Python, Bash, Shell, and PowerShell
  • Knowledge of common cybersecurity issues and IEC 62443-4-2
  • Familiarity with open-source software, Git, GitHub, Debian GNU/Linux, Ubuntu, Software Composition Analysis, Static Code Analysis, and Fuzz testing
  • Able to work with cross-functional and global teams, aligning best practices and coding standards
