Job Role Title: Tester / QA Specialist

This challenging role requires at least 5 years of experience in software testing, automation (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG), performance testing, and test strategy development. Experience in Automation testing is highly preferred.

Achieving success in this role involves:

  • Surety of functional and technical requirements through clear understanding, feasibility analysis, and testability verification.
  • Detailed test plans and test cases creation to cover all aspects of the portal's functionality.
  • Component-level testing and interaction verification to ensure correctness.
  • Defect identification, documentation, and collaboration with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Portal performance testing (speed, load times) and user experience evaluation to ensure the portal meets performance standards and is user-friendly.

In addition, this role includes:

  • System specification review and analysis.
  • Collaboration with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
  • Test case execution (manual or automated) and result analysis.
  • Log creation to document testing phases and defects.
  • Bug reporting and error communication to development teams.
  • Troubleshooting assistance.
  • Post-release/post-implementation testing.
  • Cross-functional team collaboration to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Automation test suite creation using Selenium, TestNG, etc.

Executing load tests on applications using JMeter or similar tools is also a responsibility in this role.
