Project Coordinator Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within a set timeline and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Set project timelines and milestones
  • Monitor project deliverables and ensure compliance with design and safety standards
  • Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
  • Coach and support project team members with tasks assigned
  • Proper documentation is necessary
  • Lead and manage MEP activities across projects (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, ELV systems)
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors for seamless integration
  • Ensure adherence to local and international codes and safety regulations
  • Oversee procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations for MEP services
  • Conduct site inspections and quality audits
  • Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders and senior management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in MEP project management
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of green building practices and energy codes is beneficial
