Lead Global R2R Function

This is an exciting opportunity to establish and drive the global Record to Report (R2R) function with a reputable organization.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with strong expertise in R2R and General Ledger Accounting processes, as well as leadership capabilities to develop and manage high-performing teams.

  • Functional Expertise:
  • - Strong understanding of global accounting standards, including IFRS, Ind AS, and UK GAAP
  • Leadership & Behavioral Competencies:
  • - Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, especially UK-based teams
  • - Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of developing and managing high-performing teams
  • - Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • - Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify and implement process efficiencies
  • - Highly collaborative, with a cross-functional, team-oriented approach
  • Professional Experience:
  • - 12+ years of relevant experience in R2R or General Ledger Accounting, preferably within a multinational shared services or global business services environment

As a Global R2R Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing the R2R functions across a global region, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements. You will also oversee Audit & Compliance, Reconciliation and Financial Control, and Reporting & MIS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the global R2R function
  • Develop and implement process improvements
  • Manage complex accounting treatments
  • Support global finance teams on IFRS interpretation and implementation
  • Oversee Audit & Compliance
  • Ensure balance sheet integrity and intercompany reconciliation
  • Deliver structured, reliable, and insightful financial reports

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent international accounting certification
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP ERP (FI Module)
  • In-depth expertise in IFRS, Ind AS, and UK GAAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
