Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Asset Finance Domain Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the UK Asset Finance market, specifically across leasing (operational and finance), hire purchase, and stage payment loans.

This is an ideal opportunity for professionals with extensive experience in vehicle and equipment financing and a strong grasp of end-to-end business processes in the asset finance lifecycle.

About the Role
  • Domain Expertise: The Asset Finance Domain Specialist will act as a subject matter expert for the UK Asset Finance domain, supporting consulting engagements across originations, billing, collections, and settlements.
  • Business Process Assurance: The specialist will provide assurance on business processes and collaborate with testing teams to translate functional requirements into IT test scenarios.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: They will lead and support UAT/SIT phases, ensuring alignment with business expectations and terminology, and review and validate test scenarios in collaboration with business SMEs.
  • Data Migration and Documentation: The specialist will support data migration, documentation workstreams, and reporting activities including GL concepts.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: They will serve as a conduit between business and technology teams, ensuring seamless communication and delivery, and leverage tools such as Jira, Zephyr, and other requirements/test management platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: 4 –14+ years of experience in Asset Finance, preferably in the UK market.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle and equipment financing (excluding capital assets like equity).
  • Hands-on Experience: Hands-on experience with end-to-end Asset Finance processes.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with industry-standard terminologies and business workflows.
  • Testing Methodologies: Exposure to testing methodologies, tools, and business-IT collaboration.
