Job Title: IT Asset Acquisition Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a skilled IT asset acquisition specialist to handle procurement coordination activities related to IT-based hardware and services. The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware/network equipment procurement, knowledge of Cisco, HP, Fortinet, or other switch/IP phone brands, and proficiency in Excel and other procurement systems.

Responsibilities:
- Source and coordinate with the procurement team to get network hardware and software from approved vendors.
- Manage quotation requests (RFQ/RFP), price comparison, and vendor negotiations.
- Track and maintain inventory of IT assets and licenses.
- Coordinate with the IT operations team to ensure timely renewal of software licenses, warranties.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and invoices.
- Evaluate vendors based on price, quality, and delivery performance.
- Create and update procurement documents such as purchase orders (POs) and vendor agreements.
- Maintain procurement compliance as per company policies and audit requirements.
- Track delivery and installation of hardware; escalate vendor delays if needed.
- Collaborate with finance for payment processing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in IT, Electronics, Supply Chain, or equivalent
- 2–5 years of experience in IT procurement or IT operations
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Ability to multitask and meet procurement deadlines
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) for effective communication with global vendors and internal stakeholders

Preferred Certifications:
- ITIL Foundation
- Cisco CCNA (basic understanding helpful for hardware evaluation)
