Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Service Engineer with a strong background in solar string inverters to join our dynamic team. This role requires exceptional technical expertise to deliver high-quality support and service to customers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our solar string inverter systems.

This includes:

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues related to solar string inverters remotely and on-site.
  • Providing prompt and effective technical support to customers via phone, email, or onsite visits.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to resolve issues promptly.
  • Performing commissioning, testing, and maintenance of solar string inverter systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, and Product Development to improve product performance and reliability.
  • Documenting all service activities, technical solutions, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Training customers and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of solar string inverter systems.
  • Staying updated with industry trends and best practices to provide proactive technical support and recommendations.
  • Assisting in the development of service procedures, technical bulletins, and troubleshooting guides.

To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support or field service engineering, specifically with solar string inverters.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to power electronics and renewable energy systems.
  • Hands-on experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar string inverters.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic principles as applied to solar PV systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Willingsness to travel occasionally for onsite support and commissioning (up to 70% travel may be required).
