**Job Description:**

As a seasoned academic and industry expert, you will lead the Bachelor of Design (Game Design & Animation) program at our esteemed institution. Your expertise in game development, animation, and interactive media will be instrumental in shaping the next generation of designers.

The ideal candidate will have strong academic and professional credentials, with a proven track record of developing and teaching core courses in game design, animation, and interactive programming. You will also mentor students in game development projects and industry-linked internships, while integrating programming modules into course content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee curriculum delivery, planning, and quality assurance
  • Develop and teach core courses in game design, animation, and interactive programming
  • Mentor students in game development projects and industry-linked internships
  • Integrate programming modules (game logic, interactivity, AI) into course content
  • Lead collaborations with industry and support faculty development
  • Organize game jams, showcases, and co-curricular industry events

**Required Skills & Qualifications:

You should possess a Master's degree in Game Design, Animation, Computer Science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant academic or industry experience. A strong portfolio of game/interactive projects and/or published work is essential, as well as excellent communication and team leadership skills.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, Python, JavaScript
  • Experience with game engines and tools: Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Blender
  • Understanding of animation workflows, storytelling, and level design
  • Strong knowledge of gameplay mechanics, UI/UX for games, and interactive media
  • Ability to lead teams, coordinate across departments, and manage academic operations
