Navi Mumbai, India

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in handling electrical systems design activities for data-center or industrial projects.

They should be skilled in designing Building Management Systems (BMS), chiller plant automation, fire detection, public address (PA) and security systems for data centers or industrial projects.

The selected individual must have a strong understanding of relevant codes & standards, such as the TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers.

They should also be familiar with Indian and international codes for the design and possess good management and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare/review basis of design.
  • Design BMS IO summaries, sequences of operations for various systems, cause-and-effect matrices for fire alarm systems.
  • Detail drawings for field devices and cable conduit layouts.
  • Tender documents with relevant design, technical specifications, material requisitions, data sheets, and BOQs as per requirement.
  • Preparing technical briefs/technical bid evaluations, reviewing technical data sheets, and shop drawings submitted by vendors/contractors.
  • Evaluating and performing design reviews, participating in team meetings to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Coordinating with other disciplines and performing squad checks on drawings received from other disciplines.
  • Coordinating with construction teams to ensure proper installation according to design.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Self-driven with good management and reporting capabilities.
  • Understanding of the TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers.
  • Knowledge of 3D engineering and proficiency in reviewing 3D models using Navisworks is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of ELV codes and standards is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of IS/IEC standards.
  • Application of 3D review software like Navisworks.
  • Application of other supporting software like Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Competent user of MS Office 365: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
