Electrical Design Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing building automation and security systems in data centers or industrial projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to create conceptual designs at the preliminary stage by understanding project requirements and adhering to relevant codes and standards.

The selection of suitable instruments or devices and their specifications is vital for successful system design. In this capacity, you will work closely with other teams to ensure seamless coordination and implementation.

To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience in interdisciplinary coordination and a strong understanding of TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers. Proficiency in 3D engineering software like Navisworks is also essential.

Besides technical skills, excellent management and reporting capabilities are required. You should be self-driven and able to perform design reviews and participate in team meetings effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and reviewing Basis of Design
  • Creating BMS IO summaries
  • Detailed drawings for field devices and cable conduit layouts
  • Tender documents, technical specifications, material requisition, and BOQ preparation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers
  • Proficiency in 3D engineering software like Navisworks
  • Experience in Indian and international codes for design
  • Knowledge of ELV codes and standards, IS / IEC standards, and MS Office 365 applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
