Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We seek an experienced engineering manager with a payment and fintech background to lead our global team in developing innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a global team, providing guidance and development opportunities for professional and technical growth.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery to meet deadlines, scope, and quality standards.
  • Establish engineering standards and practices to ensure the team delivers secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute product roadmaps and contribute to platform design and architecture.
  • Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Recruit top-tier engineering talent through ongoing efforts.
  • Work with HR on performance management, training, and development.
  • Scale backend services, optimize for performance, availability, and security.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, at least 2-3 years in a management role.
  • Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as C#, Java, Scala, Go, etc.
  • A security-first mindset with good knowledge of common security concepts.
  • Understanding of crypto concepts such as blockchains, RPCs, self-custody wallets, etc.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for innovation, learning, and growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of payment infrastructure, cryptocurrency, APIs, and security.
  • Interest in crypto and fintech, including knowledge of blockchain technology, digital assets, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in Azure technologies.
  • Background in security engineering.
