Maintenance Operations Coordinator

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless plant equipment operation by providing effective maintenance services. This includes carrying out regular equipment checks, coordinating daily maintenance activities with production teams, and performing breakdown repairs when necessary.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out preventative maintenance on equipment as per defined schedules and checklists.
  • Coordinate daily maintenance activities with production personnel to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery for faults or areas requiring repair.
  • Evaluate costs associated with repairing equipment after thorough analysis of status and faults.
  • Ensure accurate calibration of equipment and proper documentation.
  • Perform breakdown maintenance of plant equipment and processes as required.
  • Regularly inspect equipment for potential faults or repairs and plan corrective action accordingly.
  • Keep detailed logs of equipment breakdowns and root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or major downtimes exceeding 2 hours.
  • Execute daily engineering-related tasks in line with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) systems and requirements.
  • Notify management of major equipment faults or breakdowns and implement corrective actions as directed.
  • Ensure regular cleaning and housekeeping of machinery and maintenance areas according to established checklists.
  • Provide monthly performance reports to the Engineering Manager and update CMMS data for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Plan resources and materials for addressing identified audit action points within set deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • A maximum of 3 years of experience in related industries such as petrochemicals or processing.
  • Familiarity with basic operational concepts and hands-on approach to maintenance activities.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to learn quickly.
  • Good interpersonal behavior and communication skills.
