We are seeking a seasoned Network Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing secure network architectures. You should be well-versed in firewalls, routing, switching, LAN, WAN, and SDWAN technologies.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Configuring and managing firewall devices
  • Collaborating with the Change Management team to ensure seamless implementation activities
  • Working closely with the Program Manager and Project Manager to develop implementation plans for firewall devices
  • Ensuring connectivity approvals from the LAN, WAN, and Cyber Security teams
  • Planning and managing demand and capacity with the Network Capacity Analyst
  • Implementing Firewall Devices as specified by the LSEG Architect & Design Team
  • Performing pre-checks and post-checks for Firewall Implementation
  • Providing project support for firewall devices until OAT is completed and handed over to BAU

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in network security
  • Hands-on experience with Checkpoint Firewall, Palo Alto Firewall, or Cisco ASA Firewall
  • Working experience with Cisco Data Network, Nexus 7k, EIGRP
  • Familiarity with routing, switching, LAN, WAN, and SDWAN technologies

Bonus skills that would be beneficial for this role include:

  • Check Point certification (CCSA) / PaloAlto Certification (PCNSE)
  • Insights on Azure Cloud -ExpressRoute, VNET Configuration
  • CCNP Network Certification

Additional requirements include:

  • A minimum of 15 years of full-time education
  • A minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
