We are seeking a skilled Process Validation Specialist to join our team.

About the Job:
  • This role involves conducting final test and process qualification activities for semiconductor equipment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.

Duties:

  • Conduct FAT tests for semiconductor equipment and qualification, executing checklists and procedures as needed.
  • Finalize the testing process by signing off on completed tasks and ensuring they meet customer requirements.
  • Analyze data, apply troubleshooting methods to resolve equipment malfunctions, and conduct diagnostic procedures to identify root causes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes and production data, adhering to compliance and traceability standards.
  • Refine process recipes based on test and customer requirements, and optimize product design or manufacturing processes using DOE's.
  • Pump down vacuum chambers and load-locks safely, handle delicate semiconductor wafers/panels with precision, and maintain cleanroom environments.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, and provide technical guidance to team members.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of mechanical components, adjustment, and alignment, coaching other team members as needed.
  • Prepare and present daily reports to the team, supervisor, and manager, providing input on peer performance during yearly reviews.
  • Support new product launches by ensuring supplier quality meets required standards, facilitating root cause analysis and corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, software, or mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in relevant final testing/process, substantial experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working in equipment engineering in semiconductor, solar, or LED industries, with expertise in final test areas and ability to read electrical, electronic, and mechanical drawings.
  • CAD, SolidWorks, and Inventor knowledge, as well as PLC programming skills, are advantageous.
  • Able to troubleshoot electrical and electronics issues at the component level, train others, and guide teams through complex tool issues.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and experience dealing with customers and suppliers.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Kawasaki robots, load ports, aligner, and ionizer bars.
  • Evaluating ESD requirements for platforms, handling CDA, N2, and helium gases, and process chemistry.
  • Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
