Job Title: F&B Executive

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage (F&B) professional to join our team as a F&B Executive. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the outlet, and contributing to the overall success of the hotel.

Job Description:

The F&B Executive will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and assisting in opening and closing duties, ensuring all settings are completed according to standards and procedures.
  • Supervising junior team members and casual labor, ensuring tasks assigned are carried out on time and according to instruction and departmental standards.
  • Taking and recording restaurant reservations and cancellations, reconfirming reservations through phone calls or email daily.
  • Taking food and beverage orders according to guest requirements and preferences, delivering services in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.
  • Ensuring all food and beverages are served according to service standards, up-selling and promoting food and beverage offers to maximize sales revenue.
  • Cross-selling other dining venues when the outlet is full, trying to remember individual patrons' names and their preferences to extend personalized service.
  • Applying necessary precautions with regards to hotel food safety and hygiene standards, collecting and requisitioning food and beverage supplies, and handling guests' complaints and comments tactfully and efficiently.
  • Reporting any complaints, incidents, or other irregularities to management, supervising and assisting in assigned work station activities, and overseeing outlet operations in the absence of management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Secondary or high school education, with additional certifications in Food and Beverage being an advantage.
  • Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language, with ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages being advantageous.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, with working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other office software.
