Financial Operations Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our team. As a Finance Associate, you will gain hands-on experience in financial operations, assist in transactional processes, and support reporting and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and check day-to-day financial transactions;
- Assist in preparing basic financial reports (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow);
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering and organizing data;
- Help maintain financial trackers and spreadsheets;
- Work with teams to provide simple reports and updates;
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable entries;
- Support month-end closing activities like reconciliations and documentation;
- Provide data for tax filings and audits when needed;
- Create simple dashboards, presentations, and summaries for internal use;
- Contribute to small process improvement tasks and ad-hoc finance projects.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field;
- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets;
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy;
- Strong communication and organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
