Job Summary

  • Oversee and coordinate fund accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate creation, review, and delivery of work.
  • Manage daily activities, guaranteeing completion and sign-off of controls and processing within set deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Fund Accounting operations, driving efficiency and productivity through effective management.
  • Ensure adherence to risk and control checks, maintaining a secure and compliant environment.
  • Communicate strategic and regulatory changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Review and update Standard Operating Procedures regularly to reflect best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of Fund Accounting products, driving innovation and growth.
  • Analyze client accounting records, identifying potential issues and escalating as necessary.
  • Collaborate with partner sites for external deliveries, fostering strong relationships.
  • Address accounting-related queries from stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Seek opportunities to improve processes, streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in fund accounting, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical skills for evaluating financial numbers.
  • Thorough knowledge of US regulations, mutual funds, and NAV, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Effective implementation of change and continuous improvement, seeking efficiencies in daily responsibilities.
  • Management of multiple initiatives alongside daily tasks, prioritizing and delegating as necessary.
