As a senior data engineering professional, you will be part of a team that designs, builds, and maintains data pipelines and transformations using cloud services.

This involves leveraging strong SQL skills, knowledge of data warehousing concepts, and proficiency in using dbt for data transformation, testing, and documentation.

You will ensure data quality, performance optimization, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions.

  • Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt and cloud service expertise.
  • Create and manage data models and transformations using dbt for efficient data consumption.
  • Develop and maintain a data quality framework, including automated testing and cross-dataset validation.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data processing in BigQuery.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
  • Support day-to-day incident and ticket resolution related to data pipelines.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, configurations, and procedures.
  • Utilize GCP services like BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions, etc.
  • Develop and maintain SQL/Python scripts for data ingestion, transformation, and automation tasks.

The ideal candidate has 8-12 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
