Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data systems that meet the evolving needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient and scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and other related technologies.
  • Develop robust data models to support business intelligence and analytical needs.
  • Manage and optimize ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine data requirements.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems and processes.
  • Apply best practices in data management, storage, and processing.
  • Conduct performance tuning of storage and queries for optimal efficiency.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture and flows.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud-based data solutions for scalability and cost-efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.
  • Proficient in SQL and relational database management systems.
  • Experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and design of scalable systems.
  • Solid hands-on experience with ETL tools and workflows.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with Python or similar programming/scripting languages.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing data quality measures and data governance.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or distributed team environment.
