A highly skilled Senior Data Protection Specialist is required to lead our team in delivering exceptional data security solutions.

About the Role

We are seeking a technical expert with extensive experience in NetBackup and related technologies. As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with enterprise teams and customers to articulate the value of our data security architectures and drive technology discussions from initial engagement to service delivery.

  • Daily Operations Management: Ensure smooth operation of NetBackup environments, monitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and optimize performance.
  • Backup and Recovery Support: Manage and maintain backup policies, schedules, and retention strategies to ensure data protection and availability.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Provide primary technical support for backup-related issues, offering quick resolutions and root cause analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience with NetBackup.
  • A proactive approach to challenges and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Ansible or Puppet.
  • Solid knowledge of well-known operating systems and their configurations.
  • Solid knowledge of market-leading applications and DBs, and cloud platforms.
