Job Opportunity: Assistant Maintenance Manager Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain equipment such as pasteurisers, separators, bactofuges, vacuum pumps, DSI, high pressure pumps, blowers, fluid bed, sifter, cheddar master, cooker etc.
  • Manage utilities equipment including boilers, steam networks, ammonia & freon based refrigeration systems, compressed air & nitrogen generation systems, VAM, RO & UF, sand & carbon filters, pumps, DG sets, transformers etc.
  • Implement advanced maintenance practices like RCA, CAPA, MTBF, MTTR, preventive & predictive maintenance, electronics equipment monitoring tools & tackles.
  • Develop and monitor maintenance budgets, set energy standards, identify cost & energy saving ideas.
  • Achieve plant KPIs like productivity, losses & complaint reduction, specific energy consumption, production lines OEE improvement.
  • Lead a team of 100 people, identify training needs, performance assessment, and foster a human safety culture.
  • Analytical thought process to introduce new concepts in maintenance practices, energy management, setting new standards.
  • Liaise with government agencies like factory, boiler & electrical inspector, MSEB, local administration.
  • Experience in CapEx, project execution, knowledge of AI & ML application, EMS would be an added advantage.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a large dairy or food processing plant.
  • Expertise in maintenance and utilities management.
