Backend Development Leadership Role

This is a Backend Development leadership position with significant technical expertise in backend development with Java and Spring Boot, along with prior experience leading development teams.

**Key Responsibilities:**
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring best coding practices, code reviews, and high delivery standards.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, QA, Dev Ops, and Product.
• Take full ownership of system architecture, scalability, performance tuning, and deployments.
• Interact with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases efficiently.
• Implement and monitor CI/CD pipelines, and utilize tools like Git and Docker in the Dev Ops cycle.
• Drive technical excellence while ensuring timely delivery in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Stay updated with current backend trends and recommend best-fit technologies.

**Requirements:**
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• ~10 to 12 years of strong hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Expert in Java, Spring Boot, and building REST APIs.
• Experience in fintech companies or on fintech product platforms will be highly preferred.
• Proficiency in ORM tools like Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong experience with both relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Familiar with Git, Docker, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture and data streaming.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes for deployment, scaling, and management of microservices.
