Job Title

A highly skilled and experienced professional is sought to analyze business requirements, design and implement solutions, and integrate external systems with IBM Sterling OMS. This role requires a deep understanding of order lifecycle management, fulfillment processes, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into Sterling OMS configurations and customizations.
  • Design and implement comprehensive solutions using IBM Sterling OMS (9.x or 10.x).
  • Configure order capture, sourcing, fulfillment, payment processing, and reverse logistics workflows to optimize business operations.
  • Develop custom extensions and services using Java/J2EE, APIs, and integration frameworks to enhance system functionality.
  • Integrate Sterling OMS with ERP, CRM, WMS, and eCommerce platforms to facilitate seamless data exchange.
  • Create detailed technical documentation including solution designs, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides to support implementation and maintenance.
  • Conduct thorough unit, integration, and performance testing for developed modules to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Support go-live activities, troubleshoot production issues, and provide post-deployment support to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS.
  • Strong development experience in Java/J2EE and related frameworks.
  • Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, and web services (REST/SOAP).
  • Familiarity with order lifecycle management and fulfillment processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to resolve complex technical issues.

Desirable qualifications include experience integrating OMS with platforms like Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or Magento, as well as knowledge of retail, e-commerce, or supply chain domain.
