Job Summary

If you are an Order Management Professional and looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you in our Mahindra World City, Chengalpattu location This role will support the Pressure Management Business Unit as an Order Management professional who will be responsible for Order Booking and Order Processing to improve the efficiency of Order Management Operations within the organization. Under minimum supervision, Own the Process of Order Booking, Front End Order Scheduling and fulfill an order from the time of receiving a customer purchase order, to the time that we ship complete scope to the customer. Assist internal and external customers with activities related to order processing and fulfilment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

- Responsible for submission of Lead Time Quote to all customers in alignment with the Internal team
- Maintains the record of Model Forecast for Material Planning during the Lead Time Quote Submission Vs PO Receipt
- Connect with Sales Team for Forecast and align with Material Planning team for Stock building.
- Receive and review customer purchase orders. Review Sales Order entered in the system is in accordance with PO and agreement with customer on technical / commercial terms and conditions.
- Responsible for Order booking.
- Own the Order Detailing Process so that the order is scheduled within the stipulated time frame.
- Acknowledge the Order to Customer with Promised date.
- Monitor the progress of all sales orders and initiate ongoing, proactive communication with Internal Stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with checkpoint procedures, all trade compliance procedures and applicable laws.
- Always adhere Emerson Ethics and Values.

For This Role, You Will Need:

- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering with Customer Sales Order Management, Order Booking and Order Detailing with total experience of 1-2 years
- High level of integrity & trust
- Good command on MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Good Technical Knowledge of Regulators, Valves.
- Familiar with ISO9001 Management System, as well as the requirements of Corporate Safety Management and Occupational Health Management is preferred.
- Solid prioritizing and organizational skills along with being a self-starter.
- Must be able to work well in a close team setting.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

- Good knowledge of Oracle or Other ERP.
