Finance Professional for Project Management

We are seeking a Finance Professional to manage the financial aspects of our projects. The successful candidate will be accountable for monitoring project progress, investigating variances, approving expenses, and ensuring timely billings and collections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain all related project accounts in the accounting system.
  • Create and maintain project-related records, including drawdown schedules, variation orders, invoices, and statements of account.
  • Maintain Company's accounting systems and procedures and ensure they are up-to-date and compliant with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, financial plans, business plans, feasibility studies, and other financial documents as required.
  • Foster effective working relationships with external auditors and ensure findings and recommendations are addressed promptly.
  • Assist with managing and tracking company funds, assets, and investments, and periodically issue reports on current and projected financial stability.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reports are provided to management to ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards and statutory regulations.
Requirements:
  • A qualified Accountant with at least five years' experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to read and interpret complex documents such as contractual agreements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
