Oracle Financials Specialist

The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Subledger Accounting, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) including Project Accounting and Costing.

This role involves facilitating client workshops to define business processes, providing expert oversight for solution design, collaborating with technical teams on system customizations, integrations, and reporting requirements, and guiding business users and technical teams by providing deep functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage end-to-end Oracle Financial Cloud solutions.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for clients.
  • Ensure timely issue resolution through Oracle SRs and maintain effective communication with Oracle Support.
  • Develop and maintain accurate functional documentation including Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and test scenarios.
  • Support the development of process improvements and contribute to the creation of best practices within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 11 years of experience in Oracle Financials with at least 2 full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementations.
  • Expertise in Oracle Fusion modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, SLA, CM, Fusion Tax, and PPM.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Ability to write basic SQL queries for data analysis and validation.
  • Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
