Quality Assurance Leader

We are seeking an accomplished Quality Assurance (QA) leader to drive quality, reliability, and innovation across our technology solutions.

This pivotal role will lead test automation, process improvement, and the development of scalable testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong vision for quality engineering and leadership skills to lead the QA team and influence outcomes across cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and driving QA strategy aligned with business and product goals. This includes leading the development of scalable, risk-based testing methodologies and serving as a QA thought leader, driving innovation, tools adoption, and best practices.

The QA leader will cultivate a culture of ownership, excellence, and continuous improvement. They will represent QA in cross-functional forums, influencing technical and strategic decisions.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading end-to-end QA across functional, automation, integration, and performance testing
  • Building reusable automation frameworks that improve test speed, coverage, and reliability
  • Incorporating AI/ML to optimize test coverage, reduce defect rates, and streamline test design

The QA leader will also be responsible for designing test data and environment strategies to support complex test scenarios, implementing metrics dashboards for quality KPIs, and monitoring team performance through structured productivity metrics and feedback.

To succeed in this role, you will need to ensure QA practices adhere to internal standards and external compliance requirements. You will also optimize resource allocation and utilization across multiple concurrent initiatives and partner with Product, Engineering, and Delivery to ensure high-quality, timely releases.

As a people manager, you will be responsible for managing, coaching, and growing a high-performing QA team. You will develop training programs to upskill engineers in tools, techniques, and leadership, promote a feedback-rich culture with clear expectations and growth paths, and foster a culture of ownership, excellence, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • 15+ years of QA experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles
  • Proven track record managing distributed QA teams of 10+ engineers
  • Deep expertise in test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools
  • Hands-on experience in performance, security, A/B, and risk-based testing
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated success in strategic QA planning and execution
  • Strong people management skills, with experience in mentoring, guiding, and supporting senior QA professionals
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process optimization, resource allocation, and productivity improvements
  • Ability to influence decisions and foster alignment across technical and business teams
