Job Title: Technical API Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical API Specialist with strong experience in JSON data handling and integration maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web services and APIs that support seamless integration between internal systems and third-party applications.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining web services and API integrations. Strong proficiency in JSON and experience working with XML is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot RESTful web services and APIs with JSON as the primary data format.
  • Ensure smooth integration between various systems, both internal and third-party.
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize existing web services for reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and business analysts to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
  • Debug and resolve integration issues and provide timely fixes.
  • Document web service architecture, workflows, and integration processes.
  • Implement best practices for API security, error handling, and data validation.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Node.js, Python, or similar.
  • Good understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with version control tools (Git).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
