Technical Support Specialist: Alteryx Workflows and Server Environments

As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and high performance of our Alteryx workflows and server environments. Your expertise in managing and supporting these systems will be key to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of Windows Server administration and services. Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Hive, or Spark is also desirable. Proficiency in Oracle SQL and query optimization is required, along with experience in scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tier 2/3 Application Support for Alteryx workflows and server environments
  • Incident resolution, job failures, workflow optimizations, and performance bottlenecks
  • Administration of Alteryx Server on Windows (user access, scheduling, deployment, logging)
  • Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues with Oracle and Big Data platforms
  • Support version upgrades, patching, and environment migration activities
  • Automation of routine tasks and monitoring using PowerShell or Python scripts
  • Cross-functional collaboration with operations, infrastructure, and data teams for seamless service delivery
  • Maintenance of support documentation and knowledge base for recurring issues and procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with Alteryx Designer and Server in a support capacity
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server administration and services
  • Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Hive, or Spark
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL and query optimization
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation
  • Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL processes and production support best practices
  • Effective communicator with strong problem-solving capabilities
