We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Senior Manager Merchandiser.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Merchandising & Marketing, with a proven track record of delivering results-oriented order execution. Key responsibilities include developing and managing buyer relationships, procuring orders, providing input to design teams, and staying up-to-date on market trends.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage buyer accounts
  • Procure orders and follow them through to completion
  • Provide inputs to the design team for collections
  • Tap contacts and current buyers for orders at the best possible price
  • Regularly visit factories and communicate with buyers on new market trends
  • Maintain a pulse on buyers' buying patterns and financial conditions
  • Offer tentative spot costing during buyer meetings
  • Coordinate with production, dispatch, and quality departments
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, both oral and written, and be highly organized
Key Interactions:
  • Internal: Sr. Management/Divisional Heads, Plant/Production Team, Sales/Marketing Team, Commercial Team, Finance/Accounts Team
  • External: Buyers/Customer

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
