Job Summary

The role of an Assistant Manager involves providing legal support and corporate advisory services to internal teams and senior management members.

  • Negotiate IT customer contracts with international clients
  • Assist HR, Admin and Finance departments in internal matters
  • Manage and maintain a repository of legal documents and contracts
  • Provide day-to-day business requirements from a legal perspective

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review and negotiate customer/subcontractor agreements in various IT contracts
  • Vetting, drafting and negotiating master service agreements, subcontractor, non-disclosure agreements, statement of works, change orders, etc.
  • Conduct legal research on laws and regulations
  • Litigation management and communication with outside counsel when necessary
  • Post signing contract management, including amendments to existing contracts, records keeping
  • Maintaining and creating legal contracts templates as per business requirements
  • Negotiating and finalizing agreements with national and international clients
  • Supporting management at the group level from a legal perspective
  • Highlighting contractual risks and proposing mitigation strategies
  • Responding to queries related to contracts
  • Data Protection/Data Privacy related duties

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Law degree from an accredited top-tier law school
  • 2-8 years of experience in general corporate law and exposure to international contracts
  • Strong knowledge and experience in negotiating high-value commercial contracts
  • Experience handling international clients and exposed to international laws
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Privacy and Data Protection related duties
  • Leadership skills and ability to work independently on a wide range of issues and projects
  • Prioritizing and undertaking mission-critical tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Team player attitude and experience with cross-cultural communication
