Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day workflows of existing assets. This includes monitoring and analyzing cash flows, tracking and analyzing asset performance, managing risk, and overseeing third-party partners to execute business plans.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Portfolio onboarding involves tracking and summarizing reporting, preparing analytics, communicating status, and processing asset-level activity to various groups throughout the life of an investment.
  2. Collaboration with the asset management team and external partners is crucial in facilitating and reviewing performance, suggesting value enhancements where applicable.
  3. Coordination with third parties and internal teams is necessary for lender reporting, loan covenants, and ensuring compliance with credit agreements.
  4. Key terms in credit and purchase agreements need to be outlined.
  5. Operational efficiencies and information flow with internal and external teams should be optimized.
Real Estate Technology Project Management

Work closely with the client's technology team and third-party consultants on high-priority real estate technology implementation initiatives.

  1. Perform a detailed review of chart of account mapping to real estate asset's trial balance accounts during implementation stages and onboarding of new deals.
  2. Review financial statement reconciliation and resolve mapping discrepancies to ensure generated financial statements reflect deal activity and performance.
  3. Understand how trial balance level accounts roll up to financial statements, determining the need for new trial balance accounts if necessary.

Skills Required:

  • Sound experience in asset management or related fields (6-8 years).
  • Strong accounting knowledge with advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with a well-developed understanding of key investment performance drivers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Advantageous Skills:

  • Knowledge of third-party databases such as Yardi, Argus, CoStar, Real Page, Bloomberg, Alteryx, Tableau etc.
  • Hands-on experience with VBA macros.
