Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead our internal audit program and ensure the effectiveness of our risk management framework.

\

About the Role:

  • \
  • Develop a comprehensive annual internal audit plan in collaboration with management, business priorities, and assessment of the business risk environment.\
  • Identify and finalize vendors for program activities execution.\
  • Execute the internal audit plan as approved by the audit committee, ensuring timely completion and reporting to stakeholders.\
  • Lead functional audits as per the annual plan approved by the audit committee.\
  • Monitor and report open internal audit observations to stakeholders every month.\
  • Assess the efficacy and effectiveness of management remediation on noted internal audit reviews through follow-up audits.\
  • Establish and maintain internal audit SOP, including templates, protocols, and documentation requirements.\
  • Create a repository of audit programs, checklists, templates, and tools for standardization and consistency in the execution of the internal audit program.\
  • Develop and maintain audit support tools to improve audit process quality and efficiency.\
  • Collaborate with the Risk Management function to identify and assess entity and functional level risks.\
  • Provide input to the risk identification and assessment program for emerging risks during internal audit program execution.\
  • Use output from risk assessment to develop an informed internal audit plan.\
  • Monitor risk mitigation steps, initiatives taken by management to assess its effectiveness, and calibrate internal audit procedures.\
  • Utilize output from other programs as a 2nd line of defense (Quality, Safety, and Security) for internal audit planning and execution.\
