Attracting a highly motivated Chartered Accountant to lead our audit and control processes across the Central and South Kerala Cluster of Aster DM Healthcare is essential. The selected candidate will play a key role in coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for timely audit closures, conducting thorough testing of financial controls, reviewing operational processes, and identifying opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external auditors, to conduct audits, such as Internal Audit, Cost Audit, Statutory Audit, and Internal Financial Control (IFC) testing.
  2. Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on applicable policies, recommend changes, and promote best practices.
  3. Independently test and audit financial controls related to revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities across the cluster; provide regular reports to Unit Heads and Cluster Finance Heads.
  4. Serve as a Finance Champion by leading standardization, automation, and improvement initiatives aligned with business goals and compliance requirements.
  5. Liaise with the Corporate Audit team to ensure audit compliance and timely closure of open items.
  6. Conduct surprise physical verifications of inventory, cash, and assets.
  7. Develop and train team members to build capability and ensure knowledge continuity.

The ideal candidate should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1–4 years of post-qualification experience. Prior experience in Internal Audit, Risk Assurance, or Internal Financial Control testing is preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally, are also essential.
