This role plays a critical part in shaping the financial future of an organization.
The successful candidate will evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
- Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within the organization.
- Execute robust internal audit engagements and testing and monitoring activities in line with the annual internal audit program.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and identifying deficiencies or weaknesses in processes, systems, or practices.
- Preparing audit engagement plans tailored to the specific risks and objectives of each audit engagement.
- Documenting audit findings, observations, and recommendations in clear and concise reports for presentation to management and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with management to implement corrective actions and improvements based on audit recommendations.
- Monitoring and tracking the status of audit findings and management responses to ensure timely resolution and closure.
- Providing support and guidance to colleagues within the internal audit team and across the organization on risk management and control-related matters.
Special projects and initiatives may be assigned by the head of internal audit.
