Job Title: Automotive Android Framework Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Android Framework Developer to join our automotive engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AOSP, JNI, and HAL.

About the Role:

  • We design, develop, and optimize Android framework components for next-generation in-vehicle infotainment and connected car solutions.
  • The successful candidate will work extensively on AOSP (Android Open Source Project), JNI (Java Native Interface), and HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer).
  • They will collaborate with hardware, middleware, and application teams to integrate and validate automotive features.
  • Analysis, debugging, and resolution of complex issues related to Android framework and in-vehicle systems is key to this role.
  • Ongoing optimization of system performance, stability, and reliability for automotive-grade deployments is essential.
  • Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team is also expected.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Android framework development for automotive platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in AOSP customization, JNI, and HAL development.
  • Solid programming skills in C/C++ and Java for embedded Android development.
  • Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution in Android-based automotive systems.
  • An understanding of automotive infotainment systems and in-vehicle network communication is necessary.
