DevOps Lead

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain DevOps pipelines across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Implement automation of infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Ensure smooth containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, or App Insights.
  • Establish security best practices, including secrets management, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance within Azure.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to align DevOps practices with business goals.
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem activities for critical production issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and its core services.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration – Docker, Kubernetes. Experience in implementing monitoring and logging frameworks – Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
  • Understanding of networking, security, and firewall configurations within cloud environments. Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in a collaborative DevOps culture. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage risk and identify critical dependencies. Problem-solving attitude with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
