Cash Application Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cash Application Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for end-to-end cash application activities for our entities in the specified region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile account receivables and remittances accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with customer and stakeholder teams to identify customers' requirements and provide solutions.
  • Prepare end of day reports such as daily collections, bank reconciliation, and other relevant financial data.
  • Perform periodic audits of the general ledger and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Address payment issues like double payments or other discrepancies promptly and professionally.
  • Process refund internally (supplier) and externally (client refunds) in a timely manner.
  • Research and identify unallocated payments.
  • Manage mailbox effectively.
  • Process monthly netting requests, monitor factoring payments, and invoice offsets.
  • Perform month end closing of current AR period and opening of new period accurately.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent relevant courses.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and procedures and internal controls.
  • 3+ Years of Proven experience as a cash applications or similar role.
