Job Details

This is a Project Associate role at the National Broadband Mission (NBM). As a key member of the team, you will support project execution, reporting, and documentation activities by leveraging your technical knowledge of telecom technologies, industry trends, and strong coordination skills within a multi-stakeholder government ecosystem.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for demonstrating a strong understanding of telecom technologies, networks, and infrastructure in India and globally.
  • Contribute to project decision-making and problem-solving using technical insights.
  • Monitor telecom industry news and identify key market trends relevant to the NBM.
  • Prepare and deliver project updates, status reports, and presentations to DoT officials.
  • Draft and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, meeting minutes, status trackers, internal/external communications, and more.
  • Ensure all documentation is updated, accessible, and shared with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support project coordination between DoT, Ministries, and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in data collection, collation, and MIS report generation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
  • Diploma/Certification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with Government Ministries/Departments (mandatory).
Key Expectations
  • Strong technical understanding of telecom sector operations and policy environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Skilled in data analysis, documentation, and MIS reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Experience in office coordination, preparing formal reports, and drafting minutes of meetings.
  • Comfortable working in multi-stakeholder environments, especially within government setups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
