Site Reliability Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to maintain the reliability and uptime of critical services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability and performance on CentOS servers, Java applications, and Kubernetes administration.

  • Conduct regular routine tasks for system and application maintenance.
  • Monitor production systems, applications, and overall performance.
  • Implement tools to detect abnormal behaviors in software and collect information that helps developers understand what causes problems.
  • Conduct security checks.
  • Run meetings with business partners following established processes and procedures.
  • Write scripts or code as necessary to develop tools and/or services.
  • Learn from Post Mortems and prevent new incidents from occurring.
  • Perform administrative work on various tools and applications.
  • Maintain Service-level objectives related to maintaining Golden Metrics.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administering Kubernetes clusters, including management of applications using ArgoCD.
  • Monitoring, maintaining, and managing applications on CentOS servers.
  • Responding to and managing running incidents, including performing root cause analysis and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Using basic Linux scripting to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge in Project Management Tools like JIRA/Confluence.
  • Experience as a Linux (CentOS / RHEL) administrator.
  • Deep knowledge of on-call responsibilities and awareness of time management.
