We are seeking a Procurement Strategist to lead our procurement function. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sourcing and procurement within the chemical process industry.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and executing sourcing strategies for raw materials, chemicals, consumables, and services that ensure cost-efficiency, quality, and uninterrupted production in alignment with company goals and regulatory standards.
  • Monitoring global and domestic chemical markets to anticipate pricing trends and availability.
  • Identifying, assessing, and developing suppliers (domestic and international).
  • Leading negotiations and managing long-term agreements, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
  • Ensuring compliance with REACH, RoHS, and other regulatory guidelines in procurement contracts.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong background in chemical process industry procurement.
  • Familiarity with global sourcing, customs regulations, and import/export documentation.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office.
