Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods.
  • Work on obsolescence activities with replacements, perform testing to qualify and release in the system along with documentation.
  • End-to-end ownership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions.
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that develop into detailed drawings for manufacturing.
  • Participate in design reviews presenting designs throughout different phases of design and development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Master's degree preferred with 1 year of experience.
  • Comfortable working with US-based timings.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Good understanding of electronics components, schematics/system interconnect.
  • Select and recommend components depending upon application and circuit requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Critical/system-level thinking.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to part lifecycle management, change orders using PLM systems.
  • Experience in electronic components obsolescence.
  • Understanding of PCB and components.
  • Hands-on experience testing electronics components (bench-level test and system-level test).
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software.
