About the Position

We are seeking a seasoned ETL Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale data solutions.

As an experienced Senior ETL Developer, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and implementing complex ETL pipelines that ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.

The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in Ab Initio, including advanced components like MHub and Query It, along with expertise in data quality, performance tuning, and business rules validation.

This is a strategic role where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable data solutions that directly support business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop end-to-end ETL solutions using Ab Initio for high-volume data warehouse applications.
  • Work with Ab Initio Query It and Metadata Hub for metadata-driven development.
  • Develop logical and physical data models to support business use cases.
  • Architect and build advanced ETL pipelines that meet scalability, performance, and reliability standards.
  • Translate business requirements into data flows, mappings, and system designs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data quality frameworks, business rules validation, and source-to-target mappings.
  • Perform performance tuning, optimization, and high-volume data load management.
  • Ensure solutions meet compliance, audit, and governance standards.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to junior ETL developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Ab Initio ETL development (Query It, MHub, Metadata Hub).
  • Strong expertise in data warehouse architecture, design, and modeling techniques.
  • Experience with parsing XML data via Ab Initio (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of data flows, data mappings, system design, and performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to resolve complex business and technical problems using ETL solutions.
  • Experience in Data Quality, Source Systems Analysis, Business Rules Validation, and High-Volume Data Loads.
  • Proficiency with Unix and Oracle (desired).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
