Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in Big Data, Cloud, and Data Pipeline development.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, building, and optimizing large-scale data solutions.

They should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and possess strong communication skills.

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data lake solutions.
  • Develop and optimize applications using Scala (or Java/Python when required).
  • Work extensively with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, and ADLS.
  • Implement solutions on cloud platforms (preferably Azure; AWS/GCP experience also considered).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, availability, and reliability.
  • Integrate solutions with CI/CD pipelines and follow full SDLC best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize performance of large datasets and distributed systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in software/data engineering and solution delivery.
  • Proficiency in Scala (with exposure to Java/Python).
  • Strong expertise in Big Data stack - Spark/Databricks, Hadoop/ADLS.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable).
  • Experience with CI/CD, version control, and DevOps practices.
  • Proven ability to work with large-scale data processing and pipeline development.
