Data Processing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Data Processing Engineer to design, develop, and implement large-scale data processing systems using Hadoop technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Modeling and APIs: Develop robust data models, metadata, and APIs utilizing Hadoop components.
  • Programming Experience: Possess hands-on experience in Python, Java, or Scala programming languages.
  • Micro-Services Architecture: Implement micro-services architecture and event-driven architecture with a strong focus on scalability and reliability.
  • Unix/Linux Platform: Work proficiently on Unix/Linux platforms and possess a solid understanding of their intricacies.
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with GCP and/or AWS is advantageous, though not mandatory.
  • Data Pipelines: Design and build efficient data pipelines using Hadoop components, Hive, and Spark SQL.
  • Databases: Possess knowledge of NoSQL, SQL, and database schema design principles.
