High Performance Computing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced High Performance Computing Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in designing, deploying, and supporting AI infrastructure, including CPU, GPU, middleware, and orchestration tools. They will also be responsible for configuring and managing PFS and NFS, installing and configuring libraries and compilers, and deploying and managing monitoring and observability tools for AI clusters.

In addition, the candidate should have expertise in operating systems such as Linux (RHEL, CentOS, SuSE), programming languages like C, C++, bash, and Python, as well as schedulers and resource management tools like PBS, SLURM, Grid Engine, and LSF. Cluster management skills, particularly with xCAT, Bright Cluster Manager, and War wolf, are also essential.

Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix, and Gangalia is required, as well as experience with compilers and libraries like GNU, Intel, OpenMPI, Cuda, and MPI. Networking skills, especially with InfiniBand/ROCE/UFM/Ethernet/DPU, are also necessary.

The ideal candidate will have parallel file system knowledge, including GPFS, Lustre, Weka, BeeGFS, and VAST, as well as benchmarking tool proficiency with IOR and Lim pack. Experience with Nvidia Stack, Nvidia AI Enterprise, and RunAi is also beneficial.

Able to root cause cluster issues, perform performance benchmarking, and demonstrate basic knowledge of parallel programming using OpenMPI and MPI. Scripting and automation skills with bash, Perl, and Python are a must, along with advanced Linux OS debugging skills.
