Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We seek an accomplished Cloud Infrastructure Expert to join our team. This individual will have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, scripting/programming, monitoring, and cost optimization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the go-to expert for monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure costs across multiple providers.
- Tracking daily/weekly usage and spending patterns, highlighting anomalies and implementing corrective actions.
- Developing and maintaining scripts/automation for cost reporting, resource clean-up, and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to right-size compute, storage, and database resources.
- Implementing reserved instances, savings plans, auto-scaling policies, and storage lifecycle policies to reduce spend.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP services (EC2, S3, IAM, GKE, BigQuery, etc.).
- Experience in cloud cost monitoring & optimization.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, Shell, etc.).
- Understanding of SRE concepts: reliability, scalability, monitoring, and automation.
- Prior experience in cost analysis and optimization for enterprise workloads.
