Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive security assessments and audits of the infrastructure, identifying and mitigating security gaps and weaknesses.
  • Implement robust security controls using Terraform and other infrastructure as code tools, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand and resolve complex security incidents that arise on their services.
  • Conduct in-depth security reviews of application code, working closely with developers to ensure secure coding practices from the outset.
  • Develop expertise in SAST, SCA, and DAST, addressing real-world challenges in these areas.
  • Design and implement effective security measures within the CI/CD pipeline, focusing on DevSecOps practices.
  • Monitor and analyze logs, events, and metrics to identify potential security threats and emerging risks.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans, procedures, and playbooks for effective handling of security incidents.
  • Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure configurations, including VPCs, security groups, IAM roles, and access controls.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Expertise in cloud security architecture and design.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and regulations, including NIST and HIPAA.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex security concepts effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
