End-to-End Virtual Desktop Solutions Specialist

Job Description: As an End-to-End Virtual Desktop Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end virtual desktop solutions by analyzing business requirements, assessing existing infrastructure, and designing scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and integrate Citrix products including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud with Azure virtual desktop services
  • Configure and manage Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage to create and maintain Azure virtual desktop environments
  • Implement identity and access management strategies including integration with Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls for virtual desktop environments
  • Design and configure network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure, including network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
  • Orient virtual desktop environments for performance, scalability, and user experience
  • Implement security measures including data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements to protect virtual desktop environments
  • Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss
  • Set up monitoring tools and processes to proactively monitor the virtual desktop infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end virtual desktop solutions
  • Expertise in Citrix products including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud
  • Experience with Azure virtual desktop services, including Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage
  • Proficiency in identity and access management strategies including integration with Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls
  • Strong understanding of network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
  • Ability to orient virtual desktop environments for performance, scalability, and user experience
  • Knowledge of security measures including data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions
  • Experience with monitoring tools and processes to proactively monitor the virtual desktop infrastructure
