As a seasoned infrastructure professional, you will lead the management of our hybrid cloud environment. This role involves overseeing and optimizing both on-premises and cloud-based environments, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Windows 365 Cloud PCs.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and support Windows Server environments across on-prem and Azure platforms.
- Deploy, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Machines and related services.
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including host pools, session hosts, FSLogix profiles, and scaling plans.
- Manage Windows 365 Cloud PCs, including provisioning policies, user assignments, and performance monitoring.
- Administer hypervisor operations, including virtual machine provisioning, performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting.
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security across all environments.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to enforce policies and respond to vulnerabilities.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for hybrid workloads.
- 5+ years of experience in server administration with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
- Proven experience managing both on-prem and Azure-based virtual machines.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 Cloud PC administration.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Windows Server OS.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
